The senate (via Mitch McConnell), as an outcome of Senators Flake, Collins and Murkowski not supporting the nomination, was no longer going to vote on Judge Brett Kavanaugh without an FBI investigation.
President Trump calls for a limited investigation in scope and duration.
Within minutes of President Trump acquiescing to the well-constructed demands, DNC operatives speaking on behalf of their controlled client, Christine Ford, attorney Debra Katz and Michael Bromwich insist there will be “no limits”, and this is only “one step in their process”.

Trump couldn’t take the chance of a vote today. Flake, Collins, Murkowski..., he asked for the one week limited investigation to clear Kavanaugh and avoid a possible failed vote today.
Trump is standing by Kavanaugh and Kavanaugh knows it.

There is plenty to find on Ford, IF the FBI looks for both sides .. If they only go after Kavanaugh, Ford will not be touched by the FBI.
Her Facebook page should be available for the FBI to find.. even though it’s been taken down. Her vocation should be proved or disproved.. and if she is not what she said she was, it’s a lie.. for starters.
Why did she keep going to gang rape parties if she was “terrified” and was not that kind of person. Girls do strange things to get attention... and then cry wolf. Has she led a life that would include that.
What are her social activities.. is she a hard leftist who attends marches and has she supported abortion in activities.
Much more to check on her.. IF they are unbiased!
I was so squeaky clean at that age.... I can’t imagine girls acting like they brag about... It was an about face in the 60’s and went from there to where it is today.. rude, crude, and stupidity... instead of smarts and common sense.
They won’t look at Ford except to check her story. She won’t be held to any accountability.
I’m not an unduly negative guy at all and have expected Judge K to prevail, but as of Friday afternoon I think any clear-minded person can see that it’s more likely than not than Judge K doesn’t get confirmed by the Senate.
And then Nov elections are next. I already have my absentee ballot.. people are already voting.
If the dims block Kavanaugh.. and the GOP has let it happen.. they may hear from the silent conservativesl There are a lot of voters who are sick of the wimps giving in, especially since we know how corrupt the othre side is and what unethical, corrupt lengths they will go to get what they want.. for the GOP to capitulate, it angers a lot of people out here.
Even Trump has been luke warm in his support of Judge Kavanaugh. If the GOP had stood with the Judge and if they had been as loud FOR him as the dems have been attacking him... Kavanaugh could have won this war. As it is, the FBI can find whatever their biased minds want to find and use. It’s been said the rank and file in the FBI are hard workers.. good.. we shall see. I don’t have much hope for this to turn out well.. and then if we lose the house and senate... it’s toast.. and it will be like when obama won and the feeling of such dread and sadness... only worse.

No offense, but the Mueller probe is the blueprint the Dems wanted all along. And Trump gave it to them. Now that the FBI is involved, this “investigation” will last until the Dems have extracted every last ounce of partisan political value. And the GOP will help them. If Trump orders the FBI to shut it down, the Dems will cry “obstruction” as they head into midterms. The Dems were on a sailboat in a dead ocean before this. Trump just blew wind in their sails.
This has all the earmarks of another out of control witch hunt.

I hope they get disappointed once again.
It's an FBI background investigation of Kavenaugh. They will not investigate both sides.
Trump used the word "order". SUNPANTS uses the word "request".
We'll see how Chris Wray treats this.

This is about getting the 51 GOP votes, we don’t care what the Democrats think

The only way to gut the DOJ is to fire every Hillary voter in the department. All 97% of them.
That is our nightmare, of course. I hope that Trump will ignore the “obstruction” canards because this is not about a crime involving him, just a nominee and not a true indictment but a building of facts about a confirmation decision.
If Feinstein really wanted an honest evaluation of facts then she would have refused to mention the letter, or, brought the letter and Ford to the full attention of the Senate, not the media. And if the media stole it without her knowledge as she lamely says, then deny all and refuse to allow it into the hearings as relevant.
I hope that works for Trump.
