They want to delay the proceedings until after November. They will find every excuse they can not to submit to an FBI interrogation. An FBI interrogation of a witness is a perjury trap. Just ask Papadapoulis and Flynn.
I am really worried they are trying frame Judge Kavanaugh and will do so by any means necessary.
Ford’s attorney is already pushing back on the one week also the SCOPE of the investigation.
The Committe and President Trump said 1 week and only stick to the current investigation (Ford and Rameriz).

Yes it was to be 1 week and limited to the current complaints Rameriz and Ford and maybe the gang rape drug allegation brought by Creepy Porn Lawyer.

Your account of the process is very enlighteng. Thanks for sharing. Still, though, even if BK gets another clean bill from the FBI, Dems will already have another delay strategy ready. They only need one more delay to push this into midterm territory. The upside is all on the Dem side, IMO.

We're backing this horse because it's OUR horse. OUR horse has been second-string SCOTUS for over a decade. OUR horse was one of the most respected men in the USA. The accusers are already on record so they put themselves at jeopardy by changing their story. Looks like lieing to investigators.
I am coming to the conclusion that for high profile nominations, maybe it should just become standard practice to do an investigation up date prior to the hearings and cut this argument off for all future situations like this. For us it kills the lefts argument, for dems it’s probably a problem as their candidates tend to have less than stellar backgrounds. It might help the process and put light on dirty actors in both parties.
