I’ve been saying for almost two that dragging this thing out into mid-October and beyond actually works in the GOP’s favor.

What about the Supreme Court's new session starting this coming Monday (10/1)? Will Kennedy remain until his replacement is confirmed or will the court be short handed?

No offense, but would you please do some simple fact-checking on this?

Kennedy is retired.

His seat remains vacant until his replacement is confirmed.

Neil Gorsuch was confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court in April 2017 and was hearing cases less than TWO WEEKS later.
