Sen. Lisa Murkwoski (R-AK) told reporters Friday that she agrees with fellow moderate Republican Sen. Jeff Flake (AZ) in his call for an FBI investigation that would delay the Senate floor vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination for up to one week.
Murkowski believes there should be an investigation that is “limited in time and scope.”

During the Senate Judiciary Committee vote to move Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to the full Senate, Sen. Flake insisted that he did not think they should have a full vote on Kavanaugh until there has been a week-long FBI investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh.
The committee did vote 11-10 to confirm Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
As a moderate Republican, Sen. Murkowski was a key vote in the confirmation process.
Kavanaugh's confirmation will be determined by her and other key moderate senators such as Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Jeff Flake.
Judge Kavanaugh and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford both gave emotional testimonies Thursday on allegations that he groped her and pinned her down while he was drunk at a party in high school.
Kavanaugh fully denies her allegations and the witnesses she initially claimed were present have denied that such an event occurred.
There was "nothing to investigate" about Russia, Trump and collusion. How did that turn out?

There needs to be massive retribution on order for Murkowski and Flake and any other weaklings.

The FBI doesn't need to interview Ford. They have several hours of sworn testimony from her on the record.

I won't count on that. The dems know what they are doing here. They know FBI Director Wray is a hardcore Anti-Trump swamp creature. If the investigation is a condition of confirmation, as it appears to be at this moment, Trump will direct Wray to investigate. Once the investigation begins, it will take on a life of its own.
Even if the FBI finds nothing new, the Dems will to a person, still vote NO..

The chief instigator of this whole scheme, Senator Coons said a "week to investigate this and any new allegations."
All this scheme does is give notice to every crackpot out there that you have one week to get your allegations in. Then the indefinite delays begin.

Sen McConnel is not FORCED to do anything. He CHOOSES to do something for political reasons. Those who will vote NO will vote NO, no matter what. McConnell is aware of this information. At this point, we all should be focused on praying for Judge Kavanaugh and his family’s safety. Walk away from the pc. Breath fresh air outside. Remember to ask the Lord God for inner peace for ourselves so we can ask for what is best for the family of Judge Kavanaugh. I admit to being extremely angry and frustrated, especially at Pres Trump for not being able to keep his mouth shut if not only for the sake of Judge Kavanaugh and his family’s safety.
