Sen. Jeff Flake just said he would vote to move Judge Brett Kavanaugh out of the Judiciary Committee and to the floor of the Senate as long as the main vote would be delayed by up to one week to allow for an FBI investigation.

Call Flake’s office, yes.
But you FReepers in AK and ME need to call Murkowski and Collins too.
“Get FBI involved.”
Delay is one thing. The bigger concern would be Special Agent Wray or an imbedded McCabe/Comey henchman at the FBI coming up with some additional dirt, possibly manufactured by the CIA/Deep State...
Maybe, a long lost friend (Dem operative) of Kavanaugh who remembers the infamous party, maybe a doctored photograph of teenage Brett, Chrissy, and Judge at the country club swimming pool...something, anything to support Chrissy’s credibility and give the Dems a talking point against the Kavanaugh nomination.
Do we really trust this Deep State, Obama/Clinton-infected FBI at this point????
I trust them for nothing at this point...
Hasnt that dumbass been paying attention?
Vote, already.
A seventh investigation to find nothing
I want to get Ford under a real interrogation. Ask pointed questions about all of the holes inn her story. How long did this attack last? Still don’t know.
He cannot vote against Kav and then try to run for president.
Flake is getting on an airplane as we speak to fly down to Austin for tomorrows liberal fest. He needs to be booted off all committees.
He said if they did not delay the vote in the full Senate he would vote no on Kav, that is why you should care.
Not drinking just clear thinking, I have seen your posts many times and they all follow the same pattern
The wheat will be sifted from the chaff as it must be
Projection will get you nowhere with me
It worked on Moore.
So they played it on Kavanaugh.
There is one other side of this, I don’t think Ford’s accusations can survive a subpoena of her therapy notes and social media.
you remember when Hillary had 900 FBI files transferred from the FBI to her office on the WH. There is nothing the clintons won’t do and abortion is on the line. I assume the clintons have files on everyone
I understand that, but there just aren’t the votes to confirm yet. I think they have to do this, or else Kavanaugh is not going to be confirmed, and the Democrats will do this every time.
“””McConnell will know if he has the votes minus Flake.
McConnell has some red state Democrats he can count.
I think Judge K becomes Justice K.”””
I agree we have Justice K.
I believe both the Republicans and Democrats are scared at what might happen in November if they do not approve Brett.
“If Flake is the only Republican to vote against confirmation, the Senate will vote 50-50.”
No, this gives Murkowski and Collins an excuse to join Flake.
Remember, for these two women, abortion is a religion, and they will vote against Kavanaugh using the excuse that they weren’t given enough time for an FBI investigation.
Getting an approving vote on Kavanaugh’s nomination will be Mitch McConnell’s legacy. He has not done too well so far, and this will be his one and last redeeming chance to be remembered for something good.
I don’t have much hope.
It means absolutely nothing. Just a Flake being a flake. Mitch will torpedo it and send it to the full Senate.
There is no cave. Mitch can set the vote. If Manchin is a yes Flake’s vote is entirely unnecessary.
All that McConnell need do is call the vote if they really have Manchin. At this point, if I was Kavanaugh, I would say let me have my up or down vote right now. My family has gone through too much to expose them and people I WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH to the FBI. It’s up to McConnell and he needs to do what’s right.
Count Rand Paul in on the FBI demand. Now we have 4-5 potential no votes from the republicans.
