Thanks PJ....I really had to dig this one out....lol...I understand that the vote this morning was to ONLY set a ‘firm time’ for the REAL vote to move the Nomination out of committee and on to the Senate floor.

Next time a Dem has an appointment, I’d literally bring dogs and ponies into the Senate floor, since apparently that’s what they want a confirmation hearing to look like.
Prosecutor Mitchell told the Republicans yesterday, after she was through questioning Ford, that she would not have probably cause for a search warrant & not enough to bring charges. I’m guessing the same would be true in Maryland .... Ford & her attorneys know this which is why Ford didn’t & won’t pursue it through the legal system.
