Washington—Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) today released the following statement:
“The constant drumbeat by Republicans that sexual battery allegations against Brett Kavanaugh were mishandled is clearly an effort to discredit the women who have come forward over the past couple weeks.

It is so frustrating to hear Dinane Feinstein insult our intelligence.
There are a hell of a lot of questions to be asked about how she and her staff and other Democrats handled the allegations. There are many questions about the fact that they set off a neutron bomb after the hearings were over but before the Senate have voted on this nomination.
This is such nonsense, to say that questioning the process here somehow is disrespectful to women.

If Feinswein were truly interested in Christine Ballsy Ford’s welfare she would have brought it up during the six weeks of hearings.
Instead she sat on it until after the hearings because she knew it would never stand up under procedural scrutiny.
