Look kid, I’m pushing 70, I’m from Texas. I’ve had what I feel is more than my fair share of loss and heartache in those nearly 70 years, but nothing he is crying over would make me tear up.
I doubt you’ve had to watch your wife, children and parents go through what he has just watched.

like you, I’m pushing 70; I might have had a hard time with bringing up the toll on my young daughter also, but I wondered why he he couldn’t button it up later...but the more I think about it, the more I think I may be too remote in judging his response...his emotions are his own, not mine to criticize...
