I walked away from all of this this morning with no confidence that it could go our way. I just listened for a few minutes just now.
There were only three approaches possible.
Stoic: He's cold, robotic unfeeling and the oppositioin declares him a soulless monster and he's guilty.
Righteous anger: He's attacking the 'victim', he's guilty.
Emotional/weeping: He's weak, we broke him, he's too soft fot the SCOTUS...exposed in his guilt.

No win situation, IMO-and I fervently hope I'm wrong! Accusations are hereafter proven the only weapon against which there is NO defense. Watch this scenario played over and over against Trump because it works.
God help us!I pity whoever Trump picks next if this confirmation fails.
