The Senate Judiciary Committee hears testimony from Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Professor Christine Blasey Ford about her allegations that Judge Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were teenagers.

I can’t recall whether it was Nap or Brett Baer who was reminded by a lawyer that observers should not make up their mind before the defense is heard. The accuser goes first and can sound credible. People think “it’s over”.
Then, here comes the defense and all things can change as they unravel the accuser.
FOX is downplaying expectations, the outcome, by over stating the risk to Kavanaugh. This will, in the end, HELP Kavanaugh. He’s in trouble, with Alaska Cow Ski and Flake and Collins, but he is more credible and he will look even better.

Trump is known for his hiring but I’ll agree that for this admin he hasn’t been a roaring success. However, I’d like to see Kavanaugh seated at this point and hope for the best.
This hearing is a total joke and this event in high school is a non sequitur for confirmation of a nominee.
