The Senate Judiciary Committee hears testimony from Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Professor Christine Blasey Ford about her allegations that Judge Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were teenagers.
Those were based on their own quotes. I don’t give two sh*ts about editorializing by Roll Call.
McConnell knows whether he has the votes already. This is THEATER which will not change a single Senator’s mind.
I agree. We need to ignore what the GOP Senators are saying at this moment. What they say matters NOT.
The only thing that matters is how they vote and I expect 100% of the GOP votes for Brett and it is GAME OVER!!!
Is t it ironic that Graham, whom we have all condemned as a RINO, is one of the few Republicans with a backbone. What a contrast between the boldness and control that Trump showed at that press conference and the weakness of nearly all of the Republicans.
Absolutely! That was my take, as well. Had they gone after her like a hungry jackal, the dems would have had a heyday and would have interrupted every little whip-stitch.
Anyone who thinks that Dr Ford's I am an unsophisticated 15 year old pretending to be a PHD in psychology, but I know nothing about forensics, polygraphs, or attorneys routine is a dolt, and should be treated as such.
Patience - the good stuff is ahead during the Kavanaugh portion of the hearing.

P.S. Re Kavanaugh himself, I was never over-the-moon about him but felt he’d be better than fine if he’s committed to preserving the Constitution and would rule that way. But we absolutely MUST get him seated. And him; nobody else. If this fails, we all fail, including America.
Mitchell should have asked questions about how Ford got home. Did you walk? How long would car ride from the party to your home have been? Did you go straight home? Etc.

Yes. Each time it was her turn she seems to be leading up to something - but NEVER get there, and then the next time she’d speak, she’d start up on some other point and do the exact same thing. The end result was pretty much nothing.
When Buzzy croaks Barrett will be the nominee and then the radical left will go total anti-Christian, it will be ugly like no one has ever witnessed before. They will declare any person of faith has no business in any government capacity.

It just heard it brought up that Ford said that she was asked lots of question during the polygraph. But officially she was only asked two questions. I caught that at the time, but I thought there must be something that I don’t understand because it is such a blatant contradiction.
Maybe I missed it but I did not hear her ask Ford why she never spoke out when Cavanaugh was appointed to his current position, nor she asked to explain why her immediate family did not publicly support her accusations.
Dr. Ford holds a PHD in Psychology. Even if she wasn’t a real victim of a sexual assault she is still an expert on everything a victim would do, react, recall, and anything else pertaining to this trauma. She could put on a very believable act.
Why not..as long as they can keep getting away with it...
