Judge Brett Kavanaugh & Professor Christine Blasey Ford Testify
The Senate Judiciary Committee hears testimony from Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Professor Christine Blasey Ford about her allegations that Judge Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were teenagers.
Agree!!! Plus, she’s made a mockery of those who actually went thru an assault.
Ford told The Washington Post she was upset when Trump won in 2016, because Kavanaugh was mentioned as a Supreme Court pick then.... But Kavanaugh wasn’t added to Trump’s list of possibles until November 2017, a full year later.
The Fox people are saying it’s a disaster for the republicans.

Let me say I am very pro Kavanaugh and believe an assault occurred. But I believe it’s mistaken identity by Ford.
That being said, Ford’s testimony has been credible so far, in my opinion. Kavanaugh’s rebuttal needs to be excellent or Kavanaugh is going to lose a couple of Republican votes. Just my opinion.
You are right but it’s already too late. By the time they get down to pushing back no one will be watching. It’s dragging on too long.

It will go to the full Senate, and unless Murkowski and Collins both want to play the roll of Traitor, Kavanaugh is confirmed with all Republicans and a few red state Democrats who know they won’t be re-elected if they vote no...

I am really, REALLY glad that I am not watching this. As a former military prosecutor (one Wing Commander nicknamed me “The Impaler” after a string of particularly successful difficult courts-martial I had) I would probably be throwing things at the TV.
I watched every minute of the Clarence Thomas hearings. If that was a circus, then this is a side-freak show that I can’t stomach. I trust in POTUSDJT. I trust in NO ONE else in politics.

I know a couple guys who were professional interrogators, including of some prominent perpetrators.
From what they’ve taught me of their techniques, Mitchell is following the playbook.
She is gaining empathy and coming off as her friend and confidant. There are 8-9 more segments she’ll have to build empathy, find her lies and errors and hammer them home.
She’s probably an expert in Kinesic Interrogation. Finding Non-verbal cues and tells. Ford is a horrible liar and I’m sure she is being set up for the kill.
You are forgetting she was hired by the doormat beltway GOP. The first instruction to her was probably “don’t lay a glove on the witness.”
