Corcept Therapeutics (Corcept.com) manufacturers and markets an abortion pill drug called mifepristone, and Christine Blasey Ford is a co-author of at least eight published scientific papers produced by the pharmaceutical giant to promote its pills. You can see Blasey’s name listed on several publications at this Corcept.com web page detailing their research papers.
Corcept Therapeutics, Inc., a $166 billion market cap company (stock symbol CORT) reportedly has current annual sales of $216 million. The company offers just one drug, mifepristone, which is widely known as an “abortion pill” or RU-486.
The controversial site Gateway Pundit first broke this story. It seems to have all its facts straight. And it leaves out a key one: Ford actually worked as “director of biostatistics for Corcept Therapeutics in Menlo Park,” according to the San Francisco Chronicle. (H/T Tiger Droppings.)

My understanding was that some of those published papers were psych papers about the positive effects of the abortion pill and she was quite known in the abortion lobby for these studies.

But, really, the whole Trump thing is about abortion.

From the articles Ive read, the abortion pill RU 486 is being studied for its possible affect on depression. In other words, another use for this drug, which involves hormones. The depression part is in her purview.
Makes you wonder why the republicans don’t do any investigations of their own. They just cower in the corner.
Democrats are crazy for abortion. I don’t hear them freaking out about the possibility for gay marriage being struck down or cutting back on socialized medicine. They are pretty keen on getting those illegal votes though. Maybe illegals are number two.

But #1 is foremost, no question.
I think that might make her more inclined to support Brett rather than fight against his being on the Supreme Court. If Roe v Wade were reversed then her abortion pills would have more customers.
