Is Professor Ford on the road? It will take her a good 3 days to drive from California to DC since she doesn't want to fly. Hearing is Thursday.

She’s passed Phoenix, and by the time she gets to Oklahoma, he’ll be calling her name, because he didn’t know, she would really go.

Has anyone checked to see last time she has flown and how often? Does she never fly? Why would you want to drive 3000 or so miles in a cramped car? Why would she refuse to be interviewed at her home or lawyer’s office? I’m not believing her on any level. There are many more unasked and unanswered questions.
A flux capacitor is easy to get. Granger probably has them on the shelf.
The problem is getting the plutonium to generate the 1.21 gigawatts of electricity. Also, the speed limit is about 60 mph. You need an open place so you can get that sumbitch up to 88 miles per hour. You could get a ticket for that.

?? In Texas the legal speed limit on almost all highways is 75 mph. That is less than 10 mph from that target. I do that every time I pass a car, smile. I can show you dozens of roads that have little traffic and people routinely cruze at 85+. I do doubt Granger has a flux capacitor. Most of those I've seen are on a pc board.

If she is on the road, you have to admire her courage, driving through all that Red America and all. If she avoids the roving bands that will try to forcibly baptize her, she’ll probably be taken prisoner and held in Gilead. She’ll be exposed to cheeseburgers. She could have car trouble and be rescued by a Republican. Her only chance, really, would be to turn around before she clears Las Vegas, and call the whole thing off.
