Rosenstein will demand that if the WH wants him gone, they'll have to fire him.

‘Hope Trump won’t fall for a trap - let him resign. If he doesn’t want to, Rosenstein can see how he feels after all the documents are released.
Guess it time for me to call the WH and tell them of the time I was drunk and Rod sexually harassed me. I can come up with between 4 to 6 witnesses if necessary. Don’t know if the witnesses can verify, but what difference does that make!

If Rosenstein resigns, it’s because he tried to get himself fired with the NYT article on Friday and Trump didn’t take the bait.
