Senate Judiciary Committee Minority Leader Dianne Feinstein finally released what she says is the original letter to her from Kavanaugh accuser Christine Ford.
The letter was first sent to the California Democrat in July. Feinstein or her staff leaked the letter to the press last week. On Sunday she finally released the letter to Majority leader Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA). Senate Judiciary Cmte. Chairman Grassley released the original letter that Christine Ford first sent to Senator Feinstein on Sunday night. The font in the second paragraph does not match with the rest of the letter.
Paul Sperry noticed the discrepancy when the letter was released.

Her letter is cut and paste from different places. Sad she can’t even write 3 paragraphs.
Font issues don’t usually happen only at the MOST important statement in the entire document. I hear the train rolling down the RAILROAD.
Yeah I know. It would have been 1980. It was also discovered that the “80” came from a “2008” date stamp if I remember right. They cut off the “08” and flipped it upside down.

The maybe it didn’t say “sexually and physically assaulted me”. Maybe it said “came on to me”.
Her letter sounds like it was written by a 7th grader. I thought she is a professor. Besides all the lies, the letter sounds off...strange.
BO released birth certificates with multiple fonts... No one cared.
Looks like something that often happens in a sheet fed scan. By itself not an issue. It would be better to have the originals to see whose fingerprints are on it.

Isn't it a shame we can't page Senator Grassley? But someone would have to wake him up first.
In my experience those kinds of odd mixes of fonts happen when I copy paste from different documents that may be written in a different font. I don’t think people usually just change fonts for no reason when writing a letter. Doesn’t prove it was tampered with, but it makes it smell like it was. Remember the original letter was ostensibly written by a Professor who writes lots of research papers which are probably not filled with these kinds of jarring font issues. And she was writing to a Senator of the United States. Doesn’t seem likely she would mess it up like that. Of course it seems odd that somebody trying to pull a deception would mess the fonts up as well, but maybe that somebody was not that computer savvy and didn’t realize that copy pasting from different documents often came out that way. Somebody say like a senile old Senator.

Because it appears Ford might be in legal jeopardy over the letter's provenance, they're changing their cockeyed story.
The latest is that Cong Eshoo actually wrote the letter in her office and had an aide put it in Ford's hands.

I agree. My first thought when I saw it was a problem with the scanner.
