A jury has ordered a female blogger to pay an Army colonel she accused of rape a total of $8.4million in damages.
Susan Shannon, 52, who now lives in Everett, Washington, first alleged that she was sexually assaulted by Army Colonel David 'Wil' Riggins in 1986, while they were both cadets, on her blog in 2013.
She said she waited three decades to come forward about her experience because of the army's 'code of silence'.

I disagree. I think he would do it to clear his name.
His lawyer, from what I’ve heard, is an expert in defamation. So I wouldn’t be too sure he has too much class. Of course, I disagree with your idea that suing someone for their reputation is classless. Quite the opposite, I think. I hope Judge Kavanaugh destroys her.

Please God, do not fill Judge Kavanaugh with moral cowardice and justify it to himself as “class.” Judge Kavanaugh must for the sake of this nation, for the sake of every poor innocent soul languishing in prison, for the sake of every poor innocent soul listed on a sexual predator list crushed and beaten to the earth, go after this woman. He has the means, he has the knowledge, he has the public fame, to do something incredible for these pitiful tragic people. Ignoring such wickedness because it is “classy” would be a sin, in my book.
