A person with Whelan’s reputation does not throw his friends under the bus. Also he would not turn a friend into an enemy who would sue his butt off for slander and in this case libel.

I have serious doubts that there was a sexual assault involved. I am allowed to say that because I am female, and just a few years older than Kavanaugh.

None of that matters. All he was really doing was proving that, even if there was an incident, it could have been a case of mistaken identity.
A 36 year old case of she said, he did, with no evidence and with her not even being able to say when or where is null. No one’s going to take that case as has been said.
Garret has nothing to worry about since he’s not the one going for SCJ. Just like you or I would have nothing to worry about.
It’s like some woman walking into a police dept saying I was violated 36 years ago,not sure of the date, somewhere - not sure - but I know it was this guy. The cops would say sorry maam but we have nothing to go on.
Plus they were minors.
