Note that Whelan let it be known a couple of days ago that he had something interesting.
I don’t think he spent those hours since then taking a nap.
He has been working on this and I would suspect that he has had more than a few conversations with Garrett.
A person with Whelan’s reputation does not throw his friends under the bus. Also he would not turn a friend into an enemy who would sue his butt off for slander and in this case libel.
So yes, there is more to come. I expect we will all get to meet Mr. Garrett.
Further, Whelan knows what Garrett is going to say. Whether he says nothing happened or that he is the guy and so what stuff it......
