Flake called me to apologize for missing the interview. He said he would support GOP push to move forward with Kavanaugh nomination if Ford does not appear at hearing. "I think we'll have to move to the markup," he said. "I hope she does (appear). I think she needs to be heard."

After Collins and Murkowski both expressed concern if Ford doesn't show Monday, Flake's comments here suggest that Kavanaugh's nomination may be salvaged if she declines to appear.
And if she does appear she’ll ruin the Dems’ shtick and be a laughingstock.
Tough choice.
If she shows, I won’t feel a bit of sympathy for her.

Just announced on Tucker’s show. She WILL NOT appear at the committee meeting until there is a complete FBI investigation. Monday is a no-go.
That’s how I see it.
She’s a bad, unsympathetic witness- or the Dems would have trotted her out already.
Dems still get the favorable media coverage for the “dumb sluts” to gush over. As usual.
Trump and Grassley just doesn't act very concerned any in the least at all of her appearing and testifying. But you never know.

Christine Ford’s is simply too distant and uncorroborated a story to warrant a new hearing or to delay a vote. We’ve heard from all three principals, and there are no other witnesses to call. The only purpose of another public hearing would be a political spectacle in which Democrats could wax indignant for the cameras while Mr. Kavanaugh repeated his denials.
The timing and details of how Ms. Ford came forward, and how her name was coaxed into public view, should also raise red flags about the partisan motives at play. The Post says Ms. Ford contacted the paper via a tip line in July but wanted to remain anonymous. She then brought her story to a Democratic official while still hoping to stay anonymous.
The FBI says it does not investigate non crimes so what next? Hold the vote Thursday as planned and move on.
Then the committee vote will proceed.

No way. I think the game was for her never to show. It plays out like this:
This Friday, her lawyer will issue a statement on her behalf. It read something like this: “Ms. Ford has been subjected to some of the most veil death threats and hate mail from Trump supporters. Ms. Ford simply wanted to tell her story; yet, due to the threats on her life from Trump supporters, she feels it is best to not appear in the interest of protecting herself and her family. Ms. Ford stands by her statement that Judge Kananaugh violently raped her.”
Over the weekend, it will get washed out. The following week the Judge will be appointed. Thereafter, the Dems will run on “Stop Trump from appointing another rapist to the S.C.” The brain dead “educated” suburban females will crawl over glass to get to the polls to vote Dem in the mid-terms to protect muh abortion and muh #metoo,
The Dems are playing the long-game on this one. While the Judge certainly did not do this, in the court of public opinion, he will be a convicted rapist, and Trump’s appointment of him will go down as illegitimate.
What else can the Dems say as they appear to have played their final bogus hole card and it blew up in their face and have nothing else (so far) to derail the nomination with or to even slow it down so scream for an FBI investigation "to be fair" which is not warranted and them harangued Trump and the right and throw more temper tantrums when the FBI doesn't do it.
