Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley blasted ranking member Sen. Dianne Feinstein for her handling of high-school-era sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh...
....snip.. The chairman explained that the standard procedure for updates to any nominees background investigation file is to conduct separate follow-up calls with relevant parties. In this case, that would entail phone calls with at least Judge Kavanaugh and Dr. Ford, adding, I asked Senator Feinsteins office yesterday to join me in scheduling these follow-ups. Thus far, they have refused. But as a necessary step in evaluating these claims, Ill continue working to set them up.

By phone, or public? Thanks.
Grassley needs to sprout some testicles and swear in DiFi at the next Committee hearing and have her tell how/why she sat on the letter for months, failed to talk with Kavanaugh about the letter while he was in her office, failed to bring it up in closed session, and failed to bring it up in open session. This is unethical, not that ethics matter.
Yes, this is all beyond ridiculous. As currently stands, any invite to a date, any attempt to hold hands with a date, to kiss a date, etc., however innocent and well-intentioned, can be turned on its head and misconstrued. I know more than once I asked someone out that was surprised I did so. Should I worry that they might claim bad because of how they felt? Seriously?!
just a couple of days ago...
she must have misplaced the file /s
I’d do it publicly — Kavanaugh deserves a chance to be heard by the public, and to clear his name.
It’s all they have left. This is not the party of Harry Truman or even John F. Kennedy. As for Truman, Trump’s election more closely resembles Truman’s legendary 1948 run than anything the Dems have done in decades. As for Kennedy, the Dems no longer deal in elevated rhetoric, but in low blows and hatchet work. One thing remains constant, though, corruption and voter fraud.

Adding to your great observation.
Deceive, deny, deflect, delay....
The Dem playbook....
Yep, it must be part of their plank.
Or their DNA.
Drop this crazy accusation in the nearest shredder and announce the vote is still on for Thursday. Because they got the lying Democrat women to destroy Roy Moores bid for the Senate, they will try these MeToo accusations from now on. Enough is enough.
They scrubbed her social media accounts, however there are archives that point to the fact that this chick is crazy as a loon.
Don't accept the premise, pound on due process, and hammer home what the definition of hearsay is. Stay away from character assassination, stick to the facts. (Which don't exist).
Also, people bitching at Flake need to wise up. Yes he is an a-hole, but asking for a hearing on this is perfectly logical. You don't let any stone unturned with stuff like this because this will hang over Kavanaugh the rest of his life if not dealt with now. If Repubs want to play games, they can put Feinstein on the hot seat and threaten to strip her membership in that Committee. I don't have any problems with that. p>
High schools should be gender segregated. Keep the matching up under controlled condition. Teenage boys are too stupid to be left on their own with teenage girls altogether, and add parties with booze, drugs and scanty outfits, and you’re asking for trouble.
All motivated by hate.
Call a vote. Send it to the senate. Enough.
It started with a military affidavit, which Im yet to understand.
I agree. This is now out there and needs to be cleaning and completely resolved. No reason to not bring her in, sit her in the chair, give her 15 minutes, then give Kavanaugh 15 minutes, then the FBI that has already reviewed and dismissed this. Then vote. Be done with it.
