Trump: 'Republican leadership being 'played like a fiddle' by Dems on border security

President Trump accused congressional Republicans on Saturday of being played "like a fiddle" by Democrats on immigration reform and border security.

Trump also issued another call for his signature campaign promise of a building wall along the U.S.–Mexico border.

In a tweet, the president slammed Democrats for their immigration proposals, which he likened to "open borders" while accusing "Republican leadership" of going along with the minority party.

"When will Republican leadership learn that they are being played like a fiddle by the Democrats on Border Security and Building the Wall? Without Borders, we don’t have a country. With Open Borders, which the Democrats want, we have nothing but crime! Finish the Wall!" he wrote.

They think a lot of that stuff doean’t affect them so it isno problem, like education. Their kids all go to private schools, at least after they are elected and start getting lobbyist money showered on them.

We should be telling our Republican members of Congress the same. How many of us are doing so, as opposed to being lazy and demanding that President Trump do everything for us? He can’t do everything for us. We need to take some of our own initiative and stop acting like Eurotrash.

Wow. What a wonderful society they have in Mexico.

So glad the chamber-of-commerce sock puppets in the GOP think we should merge our nation with that.

They’re being played but willingly so. I’ll explain.

Constituents who pay enough are those who do the playing. But the politicians do rationalize their evil behavior over time and do develop the same sick thinking as some of their contributors. Those contributors are mainly focused on keeping their local potential competition down (their neighbors’ families) with regulations, anti-family laws and policies, employment policies (including immigration, divorce/cohabitation, drugs, foreign trade,...) etc.

Allow millions in for free bread and circus, while the rest of the nation grows soft.

The Fall of Rome.

It’s painful to watch.

The entity known as the US Chamber of Commerce in name only needs to be asked, how many dead American citizens are factored in and acceptable collateral damage for their cheap labor and open borders demands. Mr. Donahue what’s a dead, raped or beaten American citizen worth to your organizations bottom line???
