Fox News host Tucker Carlson started his show Wednesday night claiming he had a pretty good idea who wrote the controversial anonymous New York Times op-ed and added that representatives from his show had called the White House for comment.
Earlier in the day, The New York Times published an anonymous op-ed that was allegedly written by a senior official in the Trump administration.
We think weve got a pretty good idea who wrote this piece. Weve called the White House for comment on it tonight. But until we confirm the identity, of course, were not going to accuse anybody in public, Carlson said.

That would be a good guess if he was part of the senior staff which he isn't. I don't he is part of this Admin at all other than being married to Kellyanne. That has got to be a stressful relationship right now.
Anyone who calls in sick and doesn’t show up for work tomorrow would be suspect.
WTF is NTKNetwork?
Amen! Well said.
If Tucker knows, others know. Someone will spill soon.
Lanny Davis is not a White House official. Not that the liar couldn’t up a bunch of crap.
Yep.
It’s a secret who told Tucker that the person who is withholding a secret about the informant’s identity is keeping a secret name about who will reveal the secret about Tucker’s secret. But don’t quote me, for heaven’s sake.
It’s actually Ivanka.
“You loved the other kids more than me, daddy. You made fun of Jared and you favored the other grandkids more, too. You made me cry. You cared about your stupid skyscrapers more than my school papers. I became a closet liberal to get back at you.”
And they are going to write an editorial to the NYT admitting it
Doesn’t make sense
maybe tomorrow morning with the sunrise we will see a cross on white house lawn with the perp on it.. Either WH official or NYT liar.
Might be less MONKEY business around :)
Could be writing styles. Thats one possible way.

Yes, that and phraseology along with use of particular words and expressions. Tucker and company either have a hint as to who it is or they combined that with an examination of distinctive word patterns. We all tend to repeatedly rely on the use of certain words and phrases in our writing and speaking.
If its someone in the WH it shouldn’t be that hard to isolate them because of the extensive use of email and memos.
I’m sure that at the very least sample writings are being collected from any suspects to be text mined.
Id wager the author was paid a handsome sum by the donor class for the op-ed. And if discovered and fired, promised a soft landing spot.
Mystery novel spies always use pillow talk, why shouldn’t Kellyanne’s weird liberal husband?
Sweetums, when did you say Trump sets down the nuclear code football, before a shower, was it?

Might be someone he knows...

Tucker interviews and watches a LOT of people. And he is a good listener with a sharp mind for nuances. He may well know who it is.

I mean Gary Cohn
Or could be someone from the WH that he's interviewed or spoken to previously saying the same things.
Effective immediately the Times should lose ALL access to the White House and any Federal property. No press conferences, no pass, no Press pool travel, no interviews.
