Fox News host Tucker Carlson started his show Wednesday night claiming he had a “pretty good idea who wrote” the controversial anonymous New York Times op-ed and added that representatives from his show had called the White House for comment.

Earlier in the day, The New York Times published an anonymous op-ed that was allegedly written by a “senior official in the Trump administration.”

“We think we’ve got a pretty good idea who wrote this piece. We’ve called the White House for comment on it tonight. But until we confirm the identity, of course, we’re not going to accuse anybody in public,” Carlson said.

In 2005 Judith Miller was jailed for contempt of court by refusing to testify and give up her source in the Valerie Plame case.

Why can’t the editor or publisher of the NYT be jailed until he/she gives up the name of the Anonymous Traitor ? The NYT is just as guilty as anyone in the Deep State cells.

Why doesn’t the DOJ haul the whole NYT to court?
I had to ask the question even though I already know the answer. Quislings all.

I know...I am finding it very hard to NOT be cynical about this.

The traitor is lucky they don’t live in the Soviet Union. They used to call this behavior “wrecking” and you would get twenty years if you were lucky, and execution if you weren’t.

Granted, the Soviets used “wrecking” as a catch-all crime that could be applied to nearly anyone who worked in an industry that didn’t meet their famous “Five Year Plan” quotas, but what this person is doing sounds like someone really sabotaging the government from within.

That also could have been someone who read Kudlow’s book.
