Is the guy who wrote the op-ed a traitor? No, not by the definition in Article III. Is he a coward? Yes. Is he without honor or character? Definitely. Does he have any place in the administration? No.
There can be no treason unless Congress declares war on some country, which is highly unlikely. The framers of the Constitution particularly wanted to avoid frivolouus accusations.
We may be seeing our last elections, they don’t intend to allow anyone to govern against THEIR will.
