On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” AFL-CIO chief Richard Trumka said President Donald Trump has “hurt workers.”
On Trump’s performance for workers, Trumka said, “Unfortunately, to date, the things that he has done to hurt workers outpace what he’s done to help workers. He hasn’t come up with an infrastructure program that could put a lot of us back to work. He overturned a regulation that would deny over 5 million overtime that they would’ve had. He overturned some health and safety regulations that will hurt us on the job.”
He continued, “Wages have been down since the first of the year. Gas prices have been up since the first year. So overall, workers aren’t doing as well.”
He added, “He has done more to hurt workers than to help workers.”

Yeah, we got one of those pieces of mail telling us who to vote for. We did use it, to make sure we were not accidently voting for a union idiot. AFL-CIO’s Trumka is confusing ‘union members’ with ‘American workers’... All Union members are ‘workers’ but NOT all American workers are union members.
American workers are waaaay ahead because of President Trump and I’m guessing there’s also more Union Members since Trump because there’s more jobs.
Most union bosses are made guys he should know how to hurt better then most.
The dirty little things that the Unions have done over the years make it easy for Trump to gain an advantage over them. They pushed too hard when they already had the upper hand. The public has a bad taste in their mouth when somebody mentions unions now.
A coal company in my area just got a 1.1 mill.$ grant to restart their mining operation. They will be hiring 30 “union” workers. trumka is a liar. Pig at the trough.
Union leadership are democrats. Union workers are Trumpers. They are not republican. They are Trumpers. And Trumka can say what he wants but workers are not following Trumka.
