I have similar hearing loss, though mine is from bad genes. I can’t hear movie voice tracks at any volume. Higher volume just increases the noise. I can piece together conversations, mostly from context. I can’t even listen to stock reports on the radio since I can’t tell the difference between ‘up’ and ‘off’.
I had graduated from college just before the summer of the first human lunar landing. Several of us similarly broke ‘graduates’ went to the apartment of the only person we knew who owned a color TV to watch, even though images from the moon were B&W. It was a once-in-a-lifetime event.
Everything you ever needed to know about Bollywood movies;

Won’t watch, even if on Netflix.
Never ceases to amaze me how some folks in the public spotlight needlessly tick off half their consumers.
So wait.....I thought the moon landing was done on a
Hollywood soundstage./s

For TV, watch Acorn and Britbox.
You’ll never cringe at the “f” word and there is very little queer intrusion.
Australian, Canadian and British TV are like American TV years ago before the propagandizeing and politization
You got it. I have no intention to watch it. and I hope millions won’t either
Well to find out we would have to watch it, and I am not interested, are you?
Wow. I know Upstaters, me included, who’d pay to put that on billboards all over NYS...
Ummm, bert, maybe the Brit TV from a few decades ago...
Great solution :)
Already there...
Do you really believe Col Schlichter decided just when he wrote the op-ed not to watch the movie? He probably decided at the same time you and everyone of us not to watch that crappy movie.
Go for it. Use it. If you some help, let me know.

Unfortunately, this clip has subtitles in Spanish, and amusingly all measurements are converted in the subtitles to metric, which reminds me of the saying "there are two types of countries in the world, those that use the metric system and those that have landed a man on the moon..."
At about 9:30 you can watch the real footage embedded in the show of them planting the flag.
Comrade Bork
“That the boys are boys and the girls are girls.”
HAHA, that reminds me of a time when hubby and I were channel surfing for something to watch on TV. He stumbled onto some nonsensical thing (I have no recollection what it was, or if I knew at the time what it was), clearly about some gender non-conforming person. This was a while back, but that’s how I recall it.
I said: please, can’t you find something where the men are men and the women are women? He changed the channel an on the next station was “Tombstone”. He said: how about this? and I said: OK.
Apollo Moon flags still standing, images show
I'm sure they could do even better, if they tried. I want to see stars and bars.
LOL! Bollywood. All signing, all dancing. And ... lots of other things...
Actually, it was an ill thought out idea in the first place. If the “forums”- Breaking News, Chat, etc) are operated correctly by the mods, everything should be OK as is.
Yeah well you are right. The queer stuff has crept in but it seems very recent. There are though no F words.
Evenso, there are tons of very good programming there
Kurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt!
