Left his first wife after her auto accident, with her three kids. He was always an obstructionist and NOT a republican...part of the Keating 5 and bailed on them once he realized an indictment was probably coming.

I’m mystified by the slew of McCain-adoring letters in the New York Post yesterday. Was that all they got? Hard to believe.
Don’t forget all of our POWs and MIAs who never came back from Vietnam. There was evidence that many of them were still alive. McCain and John Kerry destroyed all the evidence and treated the heart broken families poorly too.
