A memorial service for Sen. John McCain is taking place in Washington Saturday. Former President George W. Bush and former President Barack Obama are giving eulogies at the service at the Washington National Cathedral. Both men defeated McCain in his two campaigns to become president, in 2000 and 2008. President Trump is not attending.
The service begins at 10:00 a.m. ET.
The "maverick" senator was previously honored at a memorial ceremony in his home state of Arizona Thursday, where he was eulogized by friend and luminaries such as former Vice President Joe Biden. Thousands of citizens paid respect as he lay in state at the Arizona Capitol.

Particularly nice was seeing the plane coming into California and then taking the casket to his Presidential library. The final service happened just as the sun set in the west. Gorgeous tribute, down to the final minutes.

Especially Obama and Hillary supporters. After 8 years of apologizing for America, we now have a President who wants to restore our greatness and make us even greater. Trump's message resonated enough to get him elected as President, something McCain couldn't do despite all his "greatness."
I didn’t watch the circus. The McCain family is filled with hate and rage. How tacky and spiteful of Meghan to use the funeral for political statement. Disappointed that Ivanka and Jared attended.
