Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, who was Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)’s running mate in the 2008 presidential election, has been excluded from his funeral. Breitbart News has independently confirmed an earlier report in People magazine, which reported that Palin was not sent an invitation, and was told through intermediaries to stay away from the ceremony.
McCain fundraiser Carla Eudy confirmed to People that Palin had not been invited — possibly, People speculated, at the behest of the McCain family.
The news comes on the tenth anniversary of the date in 2008 when Palin was announced as McCain’s pick for Vice President.
Palin now joins President Donald Trump on the list of those barred from the funeral.
But unlike Trump, Palin never feuded with McCain and never criticized him.
When news broke on Saturday of McCain’s passing, Palin said: “Today we lost an American original. Sen. John McCain was a maverick and a fighter, never afraid to stand for his beliefs. John never took the easy path in life — and through sacrifice and suffering he inspired others to serve something greater than self.
“John McCain was my friend. I will remember the good times. My family and I send prayers for Cindy and the McCain family.”

Ultimately McCain himself had to convey these thoughts. I put odds that there is much weeping and gnashing of teeth in John McCain’s world right now.
He knew that his Gravesite in any other place than a secured Naval Academy would be desecrated.
Sarah, consider it a blessing. We love you!

I have a conspiracy theory about all of this.
McCain chose Palin because he thought it would help him lose. He was shocked when his pathetic campaign took off because of her. That is when senior campaign officials began leaking fake news about her to damage their own campaign.
McCain ran just so he could lose to Hillary. And then Obama happened. So McCain and Hillary made a deal with Obama: they would run a shadow government and enrich themselves and Obama would look the other way. Then, in 2016, it was Hillary’s turn.
Palin almost messed up their plan.

Remember during the campaign when he boycotted one of the GOP debates? While the debate was going on he held a rally to benefit veterans.
He should do the same during the funeral.
Do you need an invitation to attend funerals now?
I can just hear the excuses:
A: "Why didn't you attend my funeral?"
B: "Well, I wasn't invited."
Words out of my mind (you gotta stop that)........McCain’s true character is being revealed in his death.......what an indictment!
Without Sarah, he would have had 20% or more less votes.......so many were voting for her, not him. But he is too vain to ever realize that.

Had Palin not been picked, or declined McCain’s offer, she would had been a successful two term governor and most likely a senator from Alaska.
She did a lot for the cause and for McCain. She’s been classy in this whole matter.
But let no good deed go unpunished. When she was given the bum’s rush out of the governor’s house, the blood libel, MSM attacks, and RINO insults, she still kept fighting for us.
And to those “friends” she help elect? Where were they when Giffords was shot and the MSM called Palin a quasi co-conspirator? NOWHERE. They ran for the tall grass.
NIkki Haley? Cruz? GONZO!!!! Her only friends were a few talk show hosts and Alan Dershowitz (not to mention her rank and file supporters).
To paraphrase Obama....”you can see a direct line from Palin, the Tea Party to Trump. She played an important role which set up a future Trump candidacy. Someone had to light a spark under the conservative base and Palin did so.
