Theres a reason why you havent heard much from Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn lately. The man who served his country honorably for 33 years has been effectively silenced by special counsel Robert Mueller as he awaits sentencing.
Given the circumstances of his plea deal, Flynn cannot speak publicly about anything related to the charges against him. Doing so could void his plea agreement with Muellers team and open him up to further legal proceedings that he is financially unable to defend himself against.
Flynn, who has worked his entire career on a government salary, has spent over one million dollars on his legal defense. The financial burden has forced him to sell his home in Alexandria, Virginia, and move into a family home in Rhode Island.
He has been effectively bankrupted and has had his reputation torn to shreds, all for the supposed crime of misleading the FBI about a perfectly legal conversation he had, as incoming national security adviser, with the former Russian ambassador to the U.S.
Remember that the charges against Flynn stem from his advocacy for a detente with Russia, in addition to his reported lobbying against an anti-Israel United Nations resolution, which the Obama administration infamously endorsed through omission by abstaining from the vote. Neither of those activities are illegal or even immoral. In fact, foreign policy observers can be left to conclude that Gen. Flynn was merely acting in Americas best interests.
In order to come to the conclusion that Flynn apparently misled the FBI, the Obama intelligence community wiretapped Flynns conversations with the Russian ambassador. Those conversations were then leaked to the press by elements of the intelligence community, in gross violation of federal law.

At some point some judge somewhere should force Mueller to repay Flynn and then some.
I thought the last 2 years have shown us that non-disclosure agreements are not binding and you can go on tv and violate them.
Trump should pardon him. I hope they eventually appoint a special council to investigate Mueller, Comey, Rosenstein etc.
My prayers for General Flynn and his entire family. May this good man and faithful servant be vindicated.

Never talk to the FBI without counsel. “I don’t remember” can never work against you. It worked for Hillary.
I will never ever talk to the FBI, period.
I worked in government for over 25 years. I know many but certainly not all of their dirty tricks.
If he were a Democrat, he’d get a book deal with a $10M advance.
If he were a Democrat, he’d make a few speeches at $250,000 a piece.
But he’s a Republican so he’s basically bankrupt if he makes one wrong move.
Mark Levin was talking about some sort of GoFundMe that is currently raising money for Flynn.
It’s not a “non-disclosure agreement” in the usual sense. It’s a term of a plea agreement that is under advisement pending acceptance by the Court. Gen. Flynn is free to disregard the term of the agreement, but the penalty is that the plea agreement is withdrawn and the prosecution is back on.
The whole point of the prosecution of Gen. Flynn was to silence him. That’s why his sentencing has been delayed ad infinitum.
But do they cover the malice of the Mueller team of thugs?
Not Go Fund Me. Its Mikeflynndefensefund
Flynn has to make a porn video first.
I truly hope Muledeer and his family are made to suffer in the exact same way Gen. Flynn has.
Poetic Justice.
DOJ should go to court to vacate Flynn’s conviction.
Trump should shut this down with a pardon. No need to wait for sentencing. Do the same with Papadopolis. Not so sure about Manafort as his conviction has nothing to directly do with Trump and I am bothered by his tax evasions though the multi-hundred year sentence threatened is absurd.
And to get him out of the Trump administration. Flynn was to dangerous to the deep state. He was particularly dangerous to Comey, Orr, McCabe, and Strzok.
