President Donald Trump will officially not be attending Sen. John McCain’s funeral, a spokesman for the deceased lawmaker said Monday.
McCain passed away Saturday evening after a nearly year-long fight with brain cancer. McCain passed away only one day after announcing that he was discontinuing treatment for his illness. The former senator continued to carry out his senatorial duties while undergoing treatment.
McCain previously made his funeral wishes clear to Trump months before he died. The senator and president feuded several times throughout the 2016 presidential campaign and while in office, with McCain casting the deciding vote against an Obamacare overhaul.

Unlike the many hypocrites who will, at least Trump isn’t acting like he liked the man. Democrats have millions of reasons to love the dude... Like the millions of votes they got when he ran against Obama. It’s sad to say, but Obama was a better President than McCain would have been.

McCain didn’t want Trump at his funeral and Trump didn’t want to go (for good reasons). There have been plenty of political and personal feuds in the history of our country, this is just one of many.
I’d say things have worked out just fine. Move on, Fake News drama queens, you’re the only ones clutching your cheap pearls and falling on your fainting couches.

Even better would be that, if, while the swamp was all gathered together, subpoenas could be handed out.
I had a “friend” like McCain in school in the USA for several years named Doug.
I think we were mainly friends because we lived close to one another and he was one of the few other Jewish kids in the neighborhood. But we hung out a lot. He had a pool.
Rich kid, spoiled, smart, but not smart enough to be all honors classes.
Anyway, he would get mad and grab his stuff and stomp off if he was losing or whatever was happening was not to his satisfaction.
In seventh grade, he was in “love” with this girl Jennifer Weiss. (She was not ugly, by any stretch — very pretty in a frum, tight sweater, sort of way.)
Anyway, the girls were giggling one day, and it turned out Jennifer had a crush on me.
We went on a big date that consisted of going to a movie, escorted by our mothers. Talked on the phone a bit. I think we held hands in the hall once.
Then young love moved on.
Doug never talked to me again. 20 years later at a reunion, he saw me, turned around, and stormed off.
McCain and Doug are one and the same.
