President Donald Trump will officially not be attending Sen. John McCain’s funeral, a spokesman for the deceased lawmaker said Monday.

McCain passed away Saturday evening after a nearly year-long fight with brain cancer. McCain passed away only one day after announcing that he was discontinuing treatment for his illness. The former senator continued to carry out his senatorial duties while undergoing treatment.

McCain previously made his funeral wishes clear to Trump months before he died. The senator and president feuded several times throughout the 2016 presidential campaign and while in office, with McCain casting the deciding vote against an Obamacare overhaul.

I like to see a man who stands strongly on his principles. Trump is not a politician. He is a doer.

You got a problem with that Saagar? Your boy McCain didn’t want Trump there because Trump kicked Clintoon’s commie ass in November 2016.

Trump is merely honoring McCain’s wishes, that he [McCain] did not want Trump to attend his funeral.

How much more honorable can he [Trump] be?

I don’t recall McCain EVER honoring any of Trump’s wishes.

Trump does not need further proof McCain is deceased.

That’s fine. There is no reason why he should.

All McCain ever did was to criticize Trump constantly and viciously.

McCain passed away only one day after announcing that he was discontinuing treatment for his illness.

It is cute how they keep trying to maintain the illusion that McCain has been making “announcements”. He has most likely been “brain dead” for several months with an artificial respirator and feeding tube keeping his body from rotting while his staff waited for the most politically opportune time for him to officially “die”.

Funny thing about that, he actually loathed George Bush.

He blamed Bush for treating him unfairly in the 2000 election cycle. After Bush won and was sworn in, McCain would appear on every Sunday morning talking head show, eviscerating Bush policy.

The real problem with that was that parts of that Bush policy was decent. That made no difference to John. He opposed anything Bush said. This went on for over a year if not years.

So recently he wanted Bush to eulogize him?

Man, that cancer must have eaten a good deal of what was left of the brain I never thought he had in the first place.

As for Obama, remember folks, the nation had nothing to fear from him. He couldn’t possibly invite terrorists into the White House and appoint them to government positions.

McCain, just the same even after death.
