since Kyl is heavily involved with Kavanaugh confirmation, he seems alive and kicking. i heard him interviewed yesterday and he didn’t disabuse interviewer of the idea of his name being in the mix at all. it’s only 2 years.
McCain died as a thin skinned Republican elitist, doing bitter things to President Donald Trump who is a great man elected for and by the People. McCain was Obama’s dimmi , doing Obama’s bidding to support the jihad and ISIS.Obama used McCain like a common street whore who was left giggling because she had a few extra campaign bucks in her purse. McCain clad himself in the our flag to actually betray our country. And IMHO McCain knew exactly what Obama was using him for.
McCain was a decent enough politician until he lost the 2002 GOP presidential nomination to GW Bush. After that he was incredibly bitter. That is when he should have retired in 2002 because subsequently he was an agent provocateur to the GOP and actually sometimes engaged in treasonous activity internationally. He was strangely quiet on the Benghazi fiasco, when he could have led the charge.
One lurid example of McCain’s treasonous conduct was the bogus arms deal he brokered in Syria with the Magic Negro’s help, about 500 million dollars of small arms to a Syrian group of rebels of about 12 men who McCain had met for a photo op.The arms were sold on the black market in Syria as fast as they arrived, to ISIS and the Jihad, later to be used against our US soldiers and allies. The arms dealers in McCains pocket tickled his scrotum on that one, and McCain once again became Obama’s dimmi. Most Americans do not even know about this fiasco or the methods Obama used to support the jihad instead of fighting it.Obama used McCain to actually support ISIS.

McCain did little or nothing to help the cause against liberal fascism ,promoted and implemented by Obama.McCain could have been heroic in 2008 campaign but he fizzled, his powder wet instead of dry. Therefore the left now cynically lauds Senator McCains life, the way that Muslims laud their dimmis.
This article by Laz shows a genuinely true picture of McCain:

Exact same thought I had. A reproduction of Lenin's tomb would be a perfect memorial for the McCain dynasty!
I'm sure the Arizona legislature will find the funds for either! < / sarc off >
The people's seats are in the House of Representatives.

You’re thinking in the past, back when we actually had a Republic, before the Regressives re-shaped the government in the first two decades of the last century.
Hope the good people of Arizona speak up and remind thei RINO Gov that the Senate seat belongs to them , not one man.

at least it used to be until the 17th amendment was passed. A major component of the reduction of states rights. All part of the plan for the destruction of the USA.
“Chris Matthews would run out of spittle. “
And that “tingle” down his leg would be found to be simply a reaction to him peeing on himself!
It was always empty while McCain was there.
“Choosing a McCain family member to fill the seat vacated by John McCain would just serve to destroy Governor Duceys political career.”
I believe it’s been posted already that that is off the table. What is unconscionable to me is how little all of this is channeled to make sure that the people’s business can be conducted as required by our Constitution. Mc Cain should have been declared unable to do the job as far back as last January and a replacement made at that time. We need legislation to insure that these self-important pricks are not allowed to gum up the works ad infinitum. The President goes into the hospital for a hangnail removal and the Presidential Succession Process kicks in immediately. We need an orderly process for determining when a legislator is unable to do his or her job and replace them.
A wild guess would be that the remains will be loaded onto a cruise missile for “delivery” in Syria....I must be crazy to think it...but you never know.
“why not Jon Kyl as a placeholder?”
That would be stupid. We need someone who will take the next two years to prove themselves worthy of the job, run to complete McCain’s term in 2020, and to take the seat in 2022. Government doesn’t run effectively with “placeholders!”
Thank you for the report about the light turnout for the “not a noted funeral”. I predicted that response yesterday:

“I want him to announce that hes appointing Sarah to the office.”
Ha ha, I like it. He could stand behind “If John thought enough of Sarah to be a VP then she should be able to serve as a Senator”. The fire storm would be fun.
I might add that the Fox New Channel over the entire weekend received very few if any “Tweets” from the American public and voters praising the now passed on, Senator John McCain. Sadly, McCain was a very flawed person...across the board!!!
Shame on the USA media and, the political establishment politicians, for trying to sell the American citizens on the greatness of John McCain. It is a bad joke and fairy tale of political correctness.
McCain’s seat in the Senate has been empty since he last was in the well of the Senate, in December 2017. McCain knew when he left Washington he was going home to die.
But would he do the honorable thing and resign then, so his replacement could be named?
NOOOOO! Like a snarling dog who made his bed in the horse’s manger, the horse was unable to consume any hay, even though the dog could not eat the hay either.
If we can capture 4-5 more Senate Seats in November I think they will try once again to repeal Obamacare. I certainly hope they do!
Hear! Hear!
McCain has had no respect for the needs of citizens of Arizona once he knew he would never return to Washington DC.
