Senator John McCain, who died on Saturday at age 81, will lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda and receive a full dress funeral service at the Washington National Cathedral.
Mr. McCain, who served for two decades in the Navy after graduating from the Naval Academy and who represented Arizona in Congress for 35 years, will also lie in state at the Arizona Capitol before his burial in Annapolis, Md., a Republican official involved in the planning said.

He’s been lying in the senate for 35 years.
The other thing was the hearse was very near before his death. Sounds like a stake-out of sorts. And how did they get all of those vehicles and police in such short notice. Or did they?
This is what will get him in.
This is an insult to everyone else who laid in state at the capital rotunda.
What a disgrace.
I’ve often wondered how many of his injuries he received when being shot down, were related to him not following proper procedure for the ejection.
He was notoriously known as a man who didn’t pay much attention during flight training.
His flight instructor labeled him a screw-off. He lost one of his flight aircraft when he overshot a runway and flew it into the water. McCain said he had engine failure. They hoisted the aircraft out of the drink, cleaned it up, and it started right off, no problem.
He couldn’t have even gotten into flight school with his Annapolis grade record.
Hated by his former supporters, superficially loved by the leftists who enjoyed his betrayals of his former supporters.
Except for members of the family, the swamp, and the MSM, the viewing line should be short.

John McCain’s temper is well documented. He’s called opponents and colleagues “shi-heads,” “a—holes” and in at least one case “a -ucking jerk.”...
Three reporters from Arizona, on the condition of anonymity, also let me in on another incident involving McCain’s intemperateness. In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain’s hair and said, “You’re getting a little thin up there.” McCain’s face reddened, and he responded, “At least I don’t plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you c-nt.” McCain’s excuse was that it had been a long day. If elected president of the United States, McCain would have many long days.

McCain has plenty of similarities to Bill and Hill.
“Those who knew him when he was on active duty couldn’t stand him. Privileged brat of an Admiral and Admiral grandfather. 4th from the bottom at the Naval Academy. Word is he only got through flight school because of his father’s rank.”
A cousin of mine married a man who served on the Forrestal at the same time Songbird was there.
McCain was hated by not only the other pilots but everyone on the ship. From officers to enlisted sailors Wet Start Johnny was a PITA.
Cousins husband was a cook.
He said it was a regular occurrence for John McCain to berate the kitchen staff if he felt the food wasn’t up to HIS standards.
The ships CO used the fire as a convenient way to get rid of a pilot that someone would have killed sooner or later.
McCain was on the first helo that left the ship.
Problem solved.

I am not sure that the distraction of the McCain funeral pomp is a bad thing right now. We will have some noise after the primary vote this week. We will have noise at the funeral service and burial. The appointment of the replacement will also make some noise. Bingo, we are then only seven weeks from election week and time for only one or two October surprise from either side.
Wow...thanks for posting that. That is a main reason watching this lovefest by media for him makes me sick.
