Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., intends to introduce a resolution in the Senate to rename a Senate office building after the late Sen. John McCain, he announced Saturday.
McCain, R-Ariz., died Saturday at 81 following his battle with brain cancer. His death comes after the senator’s family announced Friday he would be discontinuing medical treatment.
Schumer, along with other congressional leaders, praised McCain for his service in the military and the Senate, as well as his patriotism and courage.

I’ll make no jokes. I recall in 2008 when I opined it was worth it to vote for him only because Sarah Palin could become POTUS if he died in office, everybody roundly cursed me, and the comment was deleted by the mods. He was a mixed bag. The MSM liked him sometimes, and he was two-faced on health care, running on repeal and replace and then reneging on his promises due to personal animus towards Trump. This is probably what I sensed in 2008, a kind of pettiness that makes for bad politicians. Oh, well. Now he’s gone to the big cloakroom up there.

Senators might want to ask their constituents before taking a position on the issue. Outside the swamp, I suspect that McCain is not so highly revered.

Secondly, Russell's early career was, according to wiki:

Also Russell smoked out disgraced Supreme Court Justice Abe Fortas early on as a crook and a schemer and a schnook (just like Schmuck) - so renaming this building is not just intended to be a slight at McCrisis, but it's some Swamprat payback against Russell.
