I wish he had gotten on the tank with Jane Fonda and screwed any possible political future.

In the early 90s he sold out the remaining POW/MIAs.

This doesn’t give someone a lifetime pass and permit him not to be judged badly. Face it, he was a terrible human being, and did low down and terrible things. He was a liar, he was corrupt; and he was power-mad and self-centered.

Nothing in his past can redeem the man he became.
