Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), who was diagnosed with brain cancer in July of 2017, has died. Its the same form that took the life of the late Sen. Ted Kennedy in 2009. Cortney wrote on Friday that Mr. McCain would be suspending medical treatment. For the past year, the Arizona Republican has been fighting the disease, which has kept him from Washington D.C. Sen. McCain cast the deciding vote in the GOPs failed attempt at the so-called skinny repeal of Obamacare. The measure went down 49-51. He has remained in Arizona for medical treatment since the end of 2017. Senator McCain was 81 years old, passing away nine years to the day of his colleague Sen. Kennedy, according to Jonathan Martin of The New York Times.
Mr. McCain ran for president in 2000 and 2008, becoming the Republican Party's nominee in the latter contest, though was ultimately not successful. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, being shot down over North Vietnam in 1967, where he remained in captivity for nearly six years. He was released in 1973.
McCain succeeded Sen. Barry Goldwater, "Mr. Conservative," in 1987 after the latter decided to retire.

Respect.... my arss! We were taught many ways to end our own lives before giving in to the enemy.....
I suppose that he will still be voting democrat
McCain gave his life for the enemy.
If he crashed, does that mean hes back here on earth? lol

Oh, I think he falls all the way to the abyss. May still be falling, for that matter.
At least McCain's family respected the Chain of Command, even if McQueeg did not.
You misspelled "Finally"...
Maybe we can swing for the fences before the midterms and bring up Obamacare repeal without this asshole blocking it this time.
FReegards!
Ezekiel chapter 18
Exactly right, not once, not ever. Anyone who even remotely praises him has zero clue about what a traitor he ALWAYS was.
And he could not even have the decency at the end to resign, so that we could at least pretend to have representation in AZ. Because its impossible to remove royalty, we had brain-dead Giffords and McCommunist occupying seats for years after they should have.
Ill give him the same respect his office always gave me when I called them to express concerns about Southern AZ losing most of our ERs. Id be polite and the village idiots staffers would start arguing with me, and defending the wide open borders policy. They spit on their constituents and McCommunist even told us that no American would work for $50/hr to pick cabbage. Demonic piece of Communist garbage.
RIP and MEMORY ETERNAL!
I’ve been working on my McCain “eulogy” for a while, and though I’m not totally satisfied with it just yet, and I am admonished to not speak ill of the dead, I’ll get it out there anyway:
John McCain was a dishonest, disreputable, self-serving, self-aggrandizing, skirt-chasing, womanizing son of a bitch.
He was a liar, a cheat and a thief!
He was a rotten Naval Officer, a terrible pilot, a miserable Congressman and a total failure as a US Senator. He was a stain on the Body Politic!
I dont know how many times he took an oath to . . . support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. . . . over the course of his life, but he certainly did not pay any attention to it! He was an oath breaker! In many different ways and on many different occasions!
[Most of us who served in the military were and are “Oath Keepers!”]
There are rumors that Songbirds time in the Hanoi Hilton was tainted by treasonous behavior. Manchurian candidate, indeed!
We are VERY fortunate that he got his ass kicked every time he ran for President!
He will not be missed, and the USA is better off now that he has died!
We can only hope and pray that he is roasting in Hell!
I find it VERY DIFFICULT to understand why this noxious, venomous assholes sins have been forgotten so quickly!
I did not like John McCain! His behavior as a Naval Officer and as a “public servant” professionally and personally offended me greatly!
It REALLY offends me that people who know better insist on making him a person that he most definitely was not!
Ill not hold my breath waiting for someone to write the true story exposing this mans perfidy and treason!
Those people who laud McCain and his “accomplishments” will be on my personal shit list until the day I die!
That’s Pulitzer Prize material!
Excellent and BTTT. Im disgusted that people here do not know or understand the full truth about that tyrant, traitor, murderer. Akin to calling a ruthless Siberian prison guard a war hero. McCommunists incessant warmongering ended so many lives overseas, while his beloved illegal aliens ended many US citizen lives domestically.
You are welcome to add your thoughts to my “eulogy.”
Have at it! Otherwise, a lot of people will think ALL the wrong things about him!
Thanks!
I have intensely disliked John McCain ever since he divorced his first wife a few years after he returned FRom his POW experience. Read all about it at https://people.com/politics/john-mccain-daughter-sidney-first-wife-discuss-divorce/. He married the heiress to the Arizona Budweiser distributorship fortune.
For the record, I knew about his lack of character when I was a serving Naval Officer - he was a known heavy drinker and notorious philanderer before he got shot down - his reputation preceded him.
My knowledge of McCain’s character is second-hand, and inadmissable in a court of law, but the Navy grapevine is generally pretty accurate, and he was roundly disliked and FRequently gossipped about in Naval Aviation circles.
I cannot recall ever hearing a positive comment about him, even during his POW years. Many snippets of gossip were snarks about his daddy and granddaddy being four star admirals and his ability to escape his self-caused difficulties because of that fact. He seemed to be his own worse enemy, but skated due to his family connections.
He never disabused me of my long-ago assessment of his lack of character!
I have assiduously followed Rev. King’s advice and did not judge him by the color of his skin!
