When you are using a phony id you can file taxes under the fake name and get all kinds of refunds for EIC, etc. My wife does investigations for id theft and she tried to explain it to me once but I couldn’t quite get it because it sounded like an unbelievably stupid law.
He was in court yesterday. Camera kept on going to 2 people in the room. I think it was his wife and brother or some of his family. Who was paying for them all these years? She had on nice earings and sunglasses.
I read that the employer followed the law and used E-Verify and the worker passed. What else was the employer supposed to do?
