H!!We’re likin pecan here.
I’ve never had apple strudel that I can remember, and we lived in Germany. But I found that their desserts weren’t sweet enough for our palates. Sugar is REALLY expensive there....or it was then.
The smoke was less prevalent today but still hanging around a bit.
I did go out to do a bit of shopping, now relaxing, getting ready for my early morning.

It is one of the easier trails, and very close by. One that is closer, (Jacobs’s Pond) is more challenging. But Penny and I have taken several weeks off because of the heat, and we have to work up our stamina again.
We haven’t seen blue skies in weeks. :(
The Ferguson fire (nearest one to me) is now fully contained but will be days (weeks?) before completely out! 97,000 acres and the loss of 2 firefighters. So sad.

Yep, choklit rulz! LOL! It’s a toss up with peach or apple pie .... I enjoy them both. Mmm, mmm, mmm.
It was nice to finally have the phone working again. It wasn’t working when I woke up but they got it going late in the afternoon. I wanted to call the vet Monday.
I made a banshee run to the vet with Moogly last week because she was violently ill and couldn’t stop. Blood test showed pancreatitis and her kidney numbers were up too. Tomorrow is to recheck to see how things are going now.
Will you be able to get your hands on all the kittens for their shots, ya reckon? Just wondering if the others will run when they see the first one being handled.
It’ll be nice if she can take care of the kiddos while you’re gone. Just hope that after getting their shots that the kittens aren’t afraid of her.
Awesome that you got to pet Ghost a little. It’ll be easier each time now that he’s felt how nice it is to be touched. :-)

Yay! Glad the smoke wasn’t as bad today. It certainly makes doing anything outside a misery. It’ll be nice if it’s even better the rest of the week since you have to get out to work.
Got the grocery shopping done today and did a little housework. Thrilling day. LOL
Yes. I guess if you’re allergic to or hate pineapple it wouldn’t be a good one for you. But it was surprisingly good.
I should get him to make another one. It was even low calorie, if you can believe that! LOL!
Good to hear that fire is contained at last. I hadn’t heard anything lately and didn’t know. That was a monster.
It would be soooooooo nice if rain would move in and quench all the fires out there. Then move out and give y’all some blue skies to enjoy.
I’m a lifetime member of WW and still make it once in a while. Love pineapple!
Well, the quiz says I’m cream pie. That won’t come as a surprise to anyone on the receiving end of my pie gifting. But I must admit, a double crust peach pie with some good ice cream is probably my first choice. The coconut cream with real whipped cream and toasted coconut runs a real close second.
