The RULING OLIGARCHY is apoplectic about Brennan losing his security clearance

Posted on 08/16/2018 4:57:04 AM PDT by cotton1706

The OLIGARCHY don't like their perks and privileges touched!

Their little tricks are being removed.

Remember how James Comey could pass information to his buddy at Columbia without any legal reprisal? That's because his buddy, as a former FBI employee, had clearance to see it. And then it was passed on to the New York Times.

The media-government complex feed each other information. If that dries up, how can they destroy republicans??

Yes, they don't want to loose their source(s) of Confidential and Secret Governmental information (Even Though that's a FELONY).

Go Trump! Revoke the B*stards Privileges; they deserve it.

Seems like a no-brainer to me. As I understand it, he no longer worked for a government agency or a government contractor. He had no need to access classified information, no “need to know” basically anything since he was no-longer involved in any programs. Therefore he not only does not need a security clearance, he should not have one.

I heard a good explanation this morning on the radio. It was a courtesy of Presidents to allow former IC heads to keep their clearances, so that they could be called in to advise on some issue for which they had expertise. It made it easier for the current agency to bring them back in to a meeting.

Unfortunately, the Obama slimeballs like Brennan et. al. abused this courtesy, and after giving them enough rope to hang themselves (so to speak), Trump is now pulling their clearances.

YES!! Our entire system of security clearances is based on NEED TO KNOW. With no job, what’s Brennan’s NEED TO KNOW? Even those with the highest clearances are still beholden to the NEED TO KNOW each operation they are read on, otherwise even they are not told.

Why does he need it anyway?

Other than to use his clearance to destroy and undermine our President??!!

If they don’t work for the gov, the security clearance should AUTOMATICALLY stop when they leave. for ANYone, and I include Presidents.

Until we started hearing about people like Brennan and Clapper losing their National Security clearance, I had no idea that people out of government still retained it. I would have thought that when you leave office, you turn in your keys and your security clearance.

All of these guys are using their security clearances as a means of “insider trading” on info so they can go on talk shows, write books, and make speeches.

Every single one should lose their clearance, including Cankles.

He clearly didn’t listen to his mother when she told him that his face would freeze like that.

I was thinking today....
We all remember “Filegate” from the 90’s when Hillary got access to 900 FBI files.
We always assumed they were key Senators and Congress members.

Perhaps they also got access to a list of key FBI agents who might actively support the DNC.
This would give them time to move key people into places of power.

Sure sounds like something the Clintons would do.

An active TS clearance does NOT imply that you automatically have a “need to know”. A retired liar like Brennan doesn’t have a “need to know” about anything anymore.

Not even ex-presidents need to have security clearances. The last few are all the proof we need fothe adoption of this common sense policy.

Enemies Domestic must always include Elected and Appointed criminals who have exposed themselves THROUGH THEIR ACTIONS.

SPECIALLY THOSE WHOSE DOCUMENTED ENTIRE LIFE DETAILS ARE TOTALLY UNKNOWN...

Not quite. I had a Top Secret clearance while on active duty. After I retired, I worked for a defense contractor, and held a Secret clearance. That ended when I retired from that job. Defense contractors also need clearances.
