I don’t have an issue with someone passing the plate for someone in need. But I also have to shake my head at the self indulgent attitude of someone who begs for money for trips to Disney for example. The Go Fund Me thing is another example of a culture failure where people think it’s better to ask for handouts than to go work for what you want.
Again, if someone wants to use the GFM mechanism as a means to collect for a charity or good cause, that’s a good cause.
My original comment was in reference to the recent GFM news related to the arrogant ass Peter Strzok collecting $150k in 24 hours for his ‘legal defense’. Pathetic.
I know a guy that has a gofundme page to get money so he can pump his 14yr old daughter full of hormones etc to change her into a boy.
Child abuse of the first order.
I doubt he will get any money.
