In the current military not hard to do. A pretty close friend who is a retired O-6 son enlisted in the Army and did a tour in Afghanistan. I takled to him a bit when he came back. Nice fellow . He was right in the heart of Pushtun country. His take was “Gee, those poor, poor people. They are so destitute no wonder they hate us and shoot at us all the time.” I tried to get him to understand that they were pathans, they like fighting, it is the best thing in life, they don't care about poverty although they do enjoy looting and stealing. He seemed really nonplussed. The natives were after all ‘poor people’.
Roy Moore finished off Roy Moore by not being able to respond to attacks using eloquence and charisma.
Trump was attacked by all 15-16 primary opponents, the GOPe, 95% of media, all never Trumper so called conservative pundits, and every democrat politician alive and dead. Yet he prevailed.

LOL. You are nuts. You need 67 votes to convict. What GOP Senator is going to impeach a sitting President of his own party. They would be committing political suicide.

Just don’t have physical reactions to the worry. Life is stressful enough as it is :-) ... if you have to worry, worry about November and getting people to vote then. No matter what happens here tonight, you’re going to hear a “blue wave” narrative from the usual suspects ... forget about them :-).

Mueller is going to present a long laundry list of ‘crimes and obstruction of justice’ to Congress. The rinos and NeverTrumpers(The GOP) are chomping at the bit to pull that impeachment lever...they just need some cover from Mueller. Then they will be compelled to uphold ‘the rule of law’ dontcha know.
Like to see the numbers perform better though.
