In 1999, Roberto Bui, Giovanni Cattabriga, Federico Guglielmi, and Luca Di Meo, writing under the name “Luther Blissett,” published an Italian novel called Q.
Luther Blissett was a name regularly adopted in the ’90s by leftists, anarchists, and general troublemakers in Italy. It was used for staging all kinds of pranks. The Luther Blissetts in different cities would occasionally communicate by phone, but for the most part the project just spread organically. Think of it like an analogue Guy Fawkes Anonymous mask.
That flowed from the original Q and was entirely in keeping with its leftist-anarchist context.
..the authors believe that leftists used it as a playbook to bait the alt-Right, and that it worked on enough of them to matter:
“Coincidences are hard to ignore,” Bui, Cattabriga, and Guglielmi said. “Dispatches signed ‘Q’ allegedly coming from some dark meanders of top state power, exactly like in our book.”
They also pointed to the fact that the Q from the QAnon community is described almost exactly like Luther Blissett used to be described, “an entity of about 10 people that have high security clearance.”

A couple of things that may have been overlooked here. When "people" say that Q's tripcodes have been compromised, and have been compromised for a long time so no one can trust anything he says, the obvious answer is "yes, of course."
Q's individual board has NOT been compromised, so Q's identity and current trip codes can always be verified, and trip code integrity can be ascertained. Q can always be legitimately identified by anons if Q wants to be, and can always disavow any posts under his "insecure" trip code should the need arise.
Part of the gameplan has ALWAYS been to have an insecure trip code that could be compromised. It would take a bit of technical know-how and some time/resources, but not too much. If any of the anons had really, really taken to trying to crack it, they could have, but they were more interested in following the crumbs and baking the bread.
The insecure trip codes weren't for us. They were for THEM. Those that Q maintains are stupid. And they ARE stupid. So stupid, in fact, that the plan wasn't going according to plan because the idiots couldn't find the key. The plan was taking too long because the low-IQ, lazy, incompetents in the Clown Agency couldn't figure out the bait.
So Q had to so something to bring them along. He was like a game master running an RPG where the players can't figure out the clues he's been dropping. So Q unmasked his password for the trip code, on purpose. The GM said, "oh, that key you've been looking for all this time turns out to have been in your pocket all along!"
The anons spotted it immediately, and took advantage of it, and actually brought more publicity to it. Then months and months go by, and I'm convinced the Q team had routed their plans through a different route bypassing the idiots, when they finally figured it out, and made that gloriously, hilariously obtuse post. I think Q expected that to happen close to a year ago.
As to the time wasting and building infrastructure, what do you want the infrastructure to look like? The anons ARE building their own infrastructure. They've figured out how to organize, how to delegate, how to crowd source, and how to communicate to normies. They've put together well-written documents and summaries, and built impressive memes. They have a world-class communication network that isn't reliant upon any one site or source. They've gotten others to join in and learn new skills, from people taking to youtube and making (extremely painful to watch at first) videos trying to explain it, and others making blogs and their own sites, which have come under attack. Then they've been learning how to support their own infrastructure, and even use it to supplement income.
They ARE building alternative infrastructure. It may not be anti-fragile yet, but it is a lot more established than I think most realize. They've learned people-infrastructure as well as tech, and for folks on the spectrum that is beyond powerful. And so many are learning new skills to go along with it.
When the autists are done, I fully expect them to be capable of taking over most countries in the world. Damn convenient too, as we're going to have need of new folks to replace all the corrupt assholes that we're going to be eliminating.
