Plead guilty and let Trump pardon him the same day.
Trump will pardon him if he gets a political sentencing.
This entire case is utterly dependent on the jury just skipping over the political affiliation of the main witnesses. I’ll go ahead and predict that it’s a hung-jury, and a second retry will occur in four months, with the same likely result.

He is facing trials by jurors drawn from jury pools that are hostile to Republicans. And you can bet that the prosecution knows this. Hopefully, the defense managed to sneak in some jurors who care about facts and truth.
Because the prosecution had not published a witness list, Manafort could not be sure which of his friends and associates were to be witnesses, and he should not be expected to disassociate himself from all of his friends and associates.
Public opinion will cause Mueller to run out of steam sooner or later
If he is convicted...but if they draw the trial out and then take over the house...then they can impeach and Trump won’t be able to save him... which is their strategy....
If they don’t take the house... this will all go away and Trump will pardon him after he is re-elected or on his way out if he is defeated.
This muller investigation is beyond the pale.....has this country gone completely insane???
Manafort made a big mistake clamming up and letting Mueller steam roll him. Especially after the no knock raid at zero dark thirty. This is a political prosecution and should be treated as such.
His true crime was supporting Trump. If not for that, he would never have been targeted.
