His primary objective is still to Frame Trump for being some sort of Russian spy or something.
We know now that it was an entrapment operation. The Russian lawyer lady had been previously banned from entering the country. She was given a probationary visa in the winter of 2015 and then granted a business visa later in the spring of 2016. To get a business visa so soon after being on probation is highly unusual. She was in the country with the blessing of DOJ/DOS. She met with Glen Simpson/Fusion GPS before and after the tower meeting.
I’ve been saying that for the past 2 years and so far nobody can answer me. Massive investigation into what crime? Who knows. Meanwhile those who committed actual crimes like Hillary who violated the espionage act not once, not twice, but 110 times is left completely alone free as a bird to laughably lecture the public about what a criminal Trump is for committing a crime that nobody can state.

I sure hope Donald Trump did everything possible to prevent Hillary Clinton from becoming President.
Including gathering as much opposition research as possible.
Hilary paid a British agent to get fake information from Russians about Donald Trump. If someone from the Trump campaign was offered real information about Hilary, hiw is that different?
And why would Trump be discussing his campaign’s activities with Cohen?

Now the weasel makes this claim that trump knew about the meeting. he has no evidence, Claims that others were there that know this. Yet now names are proof. He is willing to make this statement to Mueller. Mueller does not have his case. Mueller farmed this case out The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
I guess Cohen is hopping Mueller will take his case back if he says something about Trump and try to get a deal. There is no deal with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York for this information. Mill Mueller believe the Cohen BS with no proof and take the case back?
I read that Lynch at DOJ signed off on the probationary visa.
They may have had the final say, but the State Department also had to sign off on it as well...which seems obvious on the face of it, but like you said, they may just be one component.
Even if Cohen can prove that Trump knew, the only person that puts in danger is Trump himself, if he has testified under oath he did not know.
Mueller would also have to be able to prove that the individual other than the President who denied that the President knew was aware that the President actually did know.
At least, that would be true in a sane world.
So what. There is no crime.
And if he knew, so?
