"Impeach him for what?" Gowdy said. "No."
"I've had my differences with Rod Rosenstein," said Gowdy, who chairs the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. "I talk to him quite often privately, which again is a lot more constructive than the public hearings we have."

Gosh he is a pain in the behind.
He blows ................. hot and cold doesn’t he?
Gowdy is right. No need for Congress to do what President Trump can do himself.
Like all SC elected, he works for the Cheap Labor Express.
The jackass...just a big talker, and a deep state protector. And walking away from his seat, guaranteed he has something in his life he wants to keep quiet.
He gives good sound bite. That’s about it.
uhmm, impeach him for threatening YOUR congressional staffers?
Well if Rosenstein can impeach the president for nothing, Rod can be likewise impeached for nothing.
The main issue would be not providing congrese with the requested documents in a timely manner. That would be insubordination to the oversight authority of Congress.
Good description. It is hard to tell which side he is on and I think he is on only one side, the Gowdy side. Mostly I think he is looking for new job and is trying to keep it down the middle.
I am so sick of politicians.
I agree with Gowdy. If Rosenstein is keeping info from Congress, then let Trump release it. If Rosenstein is acting unethically, then let Sleep Jeff Sessions or Trump fire him.
What does Hitlery have on this guy to make him so absolutely stupid? I think he’s afraid of his own Hillary shadow.
Conservatives cheer, nothing happens, and the conservative masses are placated for a another three months, thinking this passes for winning.
I'm not saying we're not winning in general, I'm saying the public congressional testimonies and shamings are just that ... fake, performances, theater, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Trey, my friend. There is a good reason to impeach him. Then Trump can fire him with impunity.
For not turning over requested documents. Subpoenaed documents. Lying to Congress.
Abuse of power.
Let’s start with that Trey.

“Gowdy on Sunday said Rosenstein is a “Trump appointee” and that if “President Trump is dissatisfied with Rod Rosenstein, he can fire him with a tweet.””
Trump should have fired Rosenstein and Sessions a long time ago.
Useless dick.
Since neither Sessions nor President Trump are willing to take the flack for firing him, but if the House, with a simple majority *resolution*, impeached him, they would almost be obligated to fire him.
Only one cabinet officer has ever been impeached. William W. Belknap.

Gowdy, for once, is exactly right.
If Rosenstein has done bad, its up to his boss to fire him. The chances that the Senate will do it are zero.
