Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) had some choice words for Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on his efforts to unify Democrats against President Trump’s nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Manchin told Politico on Friday that Schumer has no power over support for Kavanaugh’s nomination.

“I’ll be 71-years-old in August; you’re going to whip me? Kiss my you know what,” Manchin, referring to Schumer’s efforts to whip up the votes against Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court, told Politico in an interview.

Shortly after Trump announced Kavanaugh as his pick for the Supreme Court, Schumer released a statement saying, “I will oppose Kavanaugh’s nomination with everything I have” and urged his Democrat colleagues to do the same.

Who knew Manchin was nearly 71 years old.

I thought he was around 56.

The Democrats are turning against each other and certain ones Like, Chuck “The Schmuck” Schumer, doesn’t care as long as you do what HE tells you to do. Even to the point where if these Democrats do what He orders , they will more than likely loose their Senate Seat. With things like this within the Democratic Party happening, it’s no wonder they are fighting each other and that people are leaving the Party. Keep on acting this way Democrats. You are definitely your own worst enemy.

A signal that the Dems know they are holding a losing hand on the judicial appointment

It's all for show. Democrats do this every election cycle: feign like they're center/right of center then swing back to left of center/left/hard left once re-elected.

A vote for a Democrat -- ANY Democrat at this point is nothing less than an exercise in pure stupidity.

It wasn’t only NJ that signed on to enrich Milan and get Fed $$$ for schools.

When you talk money and politics it’s always wheels within wheels....more wheels than a bicycle shop.

Come to the Republican side, Joe.

So Linda Graham can have a friend? Better we elect Pat Morrissey!

If Manchin wins, though, I’d like to see him switch parties. I doubt he would, but he’s my favorite Democrat. He seems like a genuinely nice guy.

Manchin’s election year dog and pony show to show he’s “independent” and not like “those other guys” when the rest of the time he is. Voters fell for it last time around with his gun shooting ad...hopefully they will not fall for it again.

I forget what Manchin’s daughter is in charge of, but it’s pretty massive.

Mylan Labs. She price gouged for EpiPens, raising the price astronomically for no reason. I have an allergy that can induce anaphylaxis and I literally haven’t been able to afford a new EpiPen after the ones I had expired.

They slashed the price after outcry, but it’s still about a 300% markup instead of a 600%.

How noble of them.
