The FBI has always been a corrupt center of political blackmail and intrigue.

Read some history about the first and longest serving Director of the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover, and you will find that he had spied on politicians, religious figures, and used those files to blackmail them to get what he wanted.

When in high school, one book of required reading was “Masters of Deceit,” on Communism written by J Edgar Hoover.
We also received every year at the start of school, a 2 or 3 legal size
paged list of subversive organizations compiled by the FBI. It included the Communist Party of the USA on down.
It was certainly a different time.
Now, a new TV series “FBI” is starting.
I think they may have a problem.

James Stewart (1959 film The FBI Story) today would have to be played by Comey and directed by Rob Reiner. Plots slightly changed.

The FBI (tv,1965-1974) would require modern, younger star—David Hogg, directed by Michael Moore.

Pilot: daring FBI agent Hogg uncovers plot to allow average citizens to own firearms but is able to thwart it by testifying before Congressional inquiry led by Lindsay Graham (playing himself). Spoiler alert of ending: Rush,Alex Jones and Mark Levin go to prison at end.

Oh, those remakes.

They are now a tool of the Deep State.

And good, honest patriotic Americans will no longer enter the FBI. The FBI will recruit people who have no scruples and have no loyalty to American ideals.

I once equated an FBI agent as all American; one who protected the American way; truth, justice and honor were upheld. The FBI of today is scum and needs to be disbanded. As a matter of fact most of the Federal Government is scum.
