JULY FOURTH AT THE WHITE HOUSE
A Military Tribute @The_Greenbrier! (7/2/18)
PGA 3 day event. Tournament formerly called Greenbrier Classic. President Trump arrived the first day to kick off the event.
President Donald Trump spoke to the Salute to Service event Tuesday at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., held in conjunction with the PGA Tours there stop this week.
During his speech, he recognized several current PGA Tour pros in the crowd, including Bubba Watson, Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson. Trump also called out PGA Tour Champions player John Daly.
I like Phil, and Phil I think likes me, Trump said.
Amid his remarks on various policy items, and praise for the military, he offered some plaudits for golfers.
These are PGA players. These are unbelievably talented people. Theyre talented in their mind and in their body, Trump said. Their muscles are strong but their mind has to be stronger. Its tough. And these are tough people.
Housed under the West Virginia Wing of The Greenbrier Resort, the top-secret, super-sized bunker was built for all 535 members of Congress during the Eisenhower era. And, The Greenbrier, which has been welcoming guests from around the world since 1778, including 26 presidents and countless celebrities.

I really am hating how the trend is to have these big long descriptions of what they are cooking, numerous ridiculous over-detailed pictures, and then the recipe at the end. I only want the recipe! Wish they would put it at the top.
Looks good.
As per the Kavanaugh appointment, haven’t you noticed that so called “conservatives” want a person to have all the attributes that THEY think a conservative should have, one thing out of line and that person is NO good.
We lose many election using this stupid way of thinking.
We are all LIKE minded but we all don’t have the very SAME mind.
Thanks for the graphic. It saddens me to see who is ponying up more than 2%. Shame on the big guys.
Obummer did see what was going on, he was just a big part of the problem.
Sounds like a great recipe.
I make a casserole bread that is quite easy.
When you want your dough to rise, cover with a tea towel and sit on a heating pad.
In my best Steve Urkel voice.. Did I do that?
“I throw my letter in the trash. I give to people not party’s.”
I always write a note, not a nice note and send it back in their return envelope.
Don’t seem to get any more of them. LOL
MAGA!!!!
It’s 83 right now and supposed to be upper 90s todays. Humidity should be going down after about 3 days of MUCH needed rains.
Still amazed at the cave rescues. All made it out alive and relatively well. It was indeed a miracle and God was looking out for them. He kept the pumps going to the last minute. The boys and the coach will do great things in the years to come. Prayers for the SEAL hero who gave his life. He did his job on Earth. Thanks to all who helped.
The kitties have scared up a black and white cousin. Stinky, stinky, stinky, pew.
Need to work on cleaning the couch and other upholstery today. Tomorrow, if my knee can manage, will be cleaning the carpet, AGAIN. Whew, our old dog is peeing and stinking up the carpet. It’s over powering. Poor thing is getting lost in the great room more and more but she keeps on keeping on.
Hubby went in for his eye procedure Monday and it went well. He said last night his vision is already clearing up. Supposed to go back again in a couple weeks for a check up. He’s still not to do anything (no bending over, no lifting, nothing strenuous) and has to sleep sitting upright. He’s been out of commission since Apr/May.
When he went to the specialist, Monday, I checked him in. Then, he checked to make sure he was checked in. The receptionist told us which room to wait. We waited and waited. Of course, she hadn’t checked us in so a supervisor had to scramble to fit him in since he’d lost his appointment time. Of course, we were also in the wrong waiting room. Geez! There’s been a screw up with each and every receptionist and billing since day one. One receptionist was so rude she told him he could just go blind for questioning her. Double billed for appointments. Charged for TWO lenses as if there’s any way possible to put in two. Charged for things that shouldn’t be charged for. Billing keeps going up at each statement and is triple what the national average is. Nothing but problem after problem. Hey, Baylor Scott and White, @)%*Y#)$^(*$!!! We’ve had them forever but, needless to say, we’re changing to a new insurance. Maybe then, someone will do something about my knee since I’ve had NO LIFE now for almost 10 years.
Ok, I’ll step down off my soap box and be thankful for all the good in the world.
Off to get the cushion covers in the washer. Have to be quiet since he’s in there sleeping.
Very true. And I realized after Trump introducing his pick and talking about How he wanted someone who would set their personal opinions aside, that their personal opinions shouldnt matter. It does with liberals because thats what they use. But a conservative justice shouldnt. He promised to interpret the law, not make it. And to follow the Constitution as written. What more could we ask?
Thats a good idea. There are lots of uses for heating pads I see, even making yogurt.
Ive never made a casserole bread. Ive heard of them but just havent tried one yet. What makes them called casserole breads?
